Jerel Kratt has been working in the fruit, nut, vegetable, and livestock industries in California for 25 years. His extensive experience helped him start Regenerative Crop Consulting.
Jerel is committed to a win-win biology-first approach while remaining economically sound. He not only considers the consequences to soil life with every management decision, but also how to practically integrate them. Jerel has expertise in precision testing methods including plant sap analysis, direct microscopy, Haney soil health tests, irrigation water suitability tests, and standard soil and plant tissue tests. He uses these tools, along with his deep understanding of California cropping systems to create precise and customized programs for his clients. He often works with a highly specific combination of different products and techniques such as biological applications, biostimulants, cover crops, compost, and a plethora of nutrition products.
